Zest of the West is an event with world-class wines and culinary treasures prepared by chefs from some of West Houston’s finest restaurants! In 2017, Fadi and his team prepared a Traditional Lebanese Sayadieh fish with tahini sauce. At the end of the night, Fadi and his team won the “Best of Zest” grand prize.
“The Epicurean Project invites an array of exceptional food exhibitors and top Texas-local chefs to take part in a unique, one-night, culinary experience.” Fadi won second place in 2017 at the Epicurean Project exhibition where he and his team presented the “Diamonds of Lebanon”.

In 2018, 2019, and 2021, Fadi and his team won the first-place award for “Premier Culinary”. In 2018 he presented the “trio kabob”. In 2019 he cooked up a delicious “grilled Spanish octopus topped with lobster tail, and shaved fennel micro-green salad. In 2021, he prepared “diver scallops, Spanish octopus truffle risotto and citrus ginger butter sauce”.
